Super Bowl commericals

Well tomorrow is the big game that everyone is going to be watching. While everyone knows that the Pittsburgh Steelers will be playing the Arizona Cardinals, most people will be watching for the famed Super Bowl commercials. The United States along with most of the rest of the world is in the middle of an economic rescission. Its time like these in which people should bond and share the burden together. However, that is not to be the case in most business circles. The average 30 second slot this year will cost businesses 3 million dollars, the most ever. Its greedy television studios like this that make me feel squeamish because all they care about is money. We should take times like these to focus on the basics and what is truly important in life like friends, family, and just getting by.

  1. I have to disagree with you on this. NBC spent hundreds of millions of dollars for the rights to broadcast NFL games. They deserve to get back as much as they can.

  2. That does make sense in the long run. But seeing as what the times are they could have backed off a bit. The studios have recouped their losses in the past with the commercials costing less, why raise the cost now.
